Baxter Thetford are looking for a MRO Stores Coordinator to join their team ensuring efficient management of engineering spare parts, consumables, materials, accurate stock control, correct storage, and timely issue to engineering and maintenance teams. You will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and organising stock, updating inventory records, and ensuring compliance with company procedures.

The role is Monday - friday 8.30am -4.30pm & we offer some fantastic benefits which are listed below.

What you’ll be doing
  • Conduct regular stock checks, cycle counting, and audits to ensure stock accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records and filing systems
  • Prepare kits or stock allocations for planned maintenance and engineering projects.
  • Work closely with engineers to understand stock usage patterns and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure the stores' area is clean, organised, and hazard‑free at all times.
  • Assist with risk assessments and compliance checks related to inventory and storage.
  • Assist with supplier deliveries, inspections, and quality control checks.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
What you’ll bring
  • Experience in stock control, inventory management, or warehousing within an engineering, manufacturing, or maintenance environment.
  • Strong organisational and record‑keeping skills, ensuring accurate documentation and filing.
  • Good numerical and attention‑to‑detail skills for running stock counts and records.
  • Collaboration and communication skills, working effectively with procurement and engineering teams.
