An aerospace company in the UK is seeking a professional to coordinate and manage engine events. The role involves planning resources, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and enhancing customer experience. The job holder is responsible for coordinating and managing engine events including both scheduled Mobile Repairs and shop-based activities within the EMEA region. This role ensures that all projects meet established business deadlines while maintaining compliance with quality Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and other applicable standards. Additionally the position actively supports initiatives to enhance the overall customer experience.
Key responsibilities include project planning, resource allocation and collaboration with various departments to ensure that both customer and company requirements are fully met. The goal is to deliver the highest quality of service in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout engine service events. Communicate customer requirements and expectations effectively while providing regular updates on engine status technical reports cost estimates invoices service offerings and other relevant details.
Plan and schedule all engine service events ensuring optimal allocation of manpower in consideration of work hours engine approvals and scope of work.
Collaborate with external Customer representatives Regional Sales Managers (RSM) Field Support and CSC (Customer Service Center) to build strong customer relationships focusing on enhancing the overall customer experience.
Assess and plan resource requirements to meet company objectives ensuring adherence to quality standards achievement of turnaround time targets and cost control within agreed levels.
Ensure all processes and procedures comply with Airworthiness requirements EASA regulatory standards and company policies. Maintain up-to-date technical airworthiness knowledge.
Oversee the management of engine progress including Cycle 1 Cycle 2 and Cycle 3 KPI reporting. Complete all required reporting using company platforms tools and applications.
Evaluate and ensure the availability and adequacy of tooling and equipment for upcoming jobs.
Collaborate with Purchasing and Inventory teams to strategically plan parts and materials needed for upcoming service events.
Review and audit technical documentation to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
Actively gather customer feedback through surveys to improve service quality and customer satisfaction.
Support and participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives and CORE activities to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
