Job summary

A leading healthcare institution in Swindon seeks a motivated MRI Radiographer to join the team. This role involves providing high-quality MRI services and working collaboratively with a focus on patient care. Candidates should possess a BSc in Radiography, HCPC registration, and relevant NHS experience. This position offers a salary between £38,682 and £46,580 per annum plus a 5% recruitment and retention premium.

Qualifications

  • Previous MRI experience preferred.

This is a fantastic opportunity for established Radiographers with NHS experience looking to increase their knowledge and work with state‑of‑the‑art equipment which currently includes a 5% recruitment and retention premium.

You should enjoy working collaboratively to provide the best possible care for our patients at all times. You will need excellent communication skills and have a flexible approach to work, as participation in extended working hours including evenings and weekends is essential.

Main duties of the job
  • To assist in the provision of an efficient MRI service.
  • To work as part of a professional radiography team providing a high quality diagnostic service.
  • To carry out a full range of MRI procedures to the agreed standards of the department.
  • To maintain a sensitive and courteous approach to patients.
  • To develop and improve professional expertise via continuous professional development.
  • To maintain a safe working environment within the MRI department.
  • To communicate effectively in order to ensure the smooth running of the service.

  • Displays evidence of CPD activities

Experience

  • Experience of working unsupervised.
  • Awareness of clinical governance issue in relation to patient care.
  • Knowledge of developments within the profession
  • Previous MRI experience
  • Previous experience at NHS Band 6 level
  • Experience of training staff and students
