Job summary

Working collaboratively with the workforce team and Manchester Royal Infirmary (MRI) leaders you will design and develop innovative and exciting communication and engagement activities for the MRI Clinical Group.

Do you have excellent organisation and communication skills? Are you highly organised with an eye for detail? Can you show creativity when developing forward-thinking communication plans? If the answer is yes, then this is an exciting opportunity for you, and we would love to hear from you.

Experience of social media management tools and writing content for different audiences is essential to help you hit the ground running. Join our team and you will soon make a difference to the delivery of all our staff engagement and communication plans.

Main duties of the job
  • Developing and distributing engaging and timely internal communications
  • Creating and managing innovative communication and internal PR campaigns
  • Keeping our intranet site, SharePoint site, website, and social media accounts up to date and with exciting and engaging content
  • Coordinating regular staff engagement events both online and face-to-face
  • Promoting our regular staff surveys and reviewing findings for action
  • Supporting our staff recognition activities
  • Support positive patient stories for external audiences

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
