Job description

We are seeking a Moulding Operative to join a busy and growing manufacturing and production team in Aldershot. This hands‑on position involves operating rubber moulding presses and related machinery to produce high‑quality components used in various industries.

You will receive full training, ongoing support, and opportunities to progress within the company. This role offers long‑term career development for candidates with the right attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate moulding and press machines to controlled specifications
  • Monitor production quality and ensure accurate completion of all documentation (WIP, Work Orders, Log Books, etc.)
  • Report faults, issues, or inefficiencies to Team Leaders or Supervisors
  • Maintain machinery in a clean, safe, and operational condition
  • Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
  • Keep your work area clean, tidy, and audit‑ready
  • Work flexibly across departments as required (covering absences or production peaks)
  • Comply with all Health & Safety, Quality, and ISO 9001:2015 standards
  • Contribute to problem‑solving and process improvement discussions
Skills & Experience
Preferred
  • Previous experience as a Machine Operator, Production Operative, Press Operator, or Factory Worker in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Basic understanding of health and safety and quality control processes
Essential
  • Reliable and punctual with a positive work ethic
  • Flexible, motivated, and eager to learn new skills
  • Physically fit – this role involves standing, lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, kneeling, and general manual handling
What We Offer
  • Competitive pay starting at £12.51 + Holiday pay = £14.01ph
  • Working 7:00 am – 4:30 pm Monday – Thursday (45‑min unpaid lunch break and 2 x 10‑min paid breaks) and 7:00 am – 12:00 pm Friday
  • Pay increases after 12 weeks and again after 6 months
  • 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays
