Job summary

Rutronik Racing is seeking a motivated truck driver and tyre mechanic for freelance engagement. You will transport the truck to events and manage on-site workshop tasks, tyre preparation and equipment handling.

Join a young, dynamic team in international motorsport, with responsibilities including loading/unloading, tyre storage, documentation, and collaboration with the engineering team. Weekend and public holiday work required; fluent English and German preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Class C/CE driving license including driver qualification certificate and driver card.
• Medical certificate preferred.
• Several years of professional driving experience, preferably in long distance transport or international motorsport.
• Strong sense of responsibility.
• Independent and reliable way of working.
• Team player with a high degree of reliability.
• Willingness to work weekends and public holidays.
• Fluent in English and German.

Responsibilities

• Transport the truck to scheduled events.
• Prepare and follow-up of the truck in workshop and on-site at the racetrack.
• Loading and unloading of equipment at workshop and racetrack.
• Coordinate and handle tyres.
• Manage tyre equipment and loading the truck in coordination with logistics.
• Unload equipment at racetrack and return to workshop after events.
• Transport the truck to various team events (race weekends, track days).
• Document and inspect the vehicle before departure.
• Prepare race tyres for scheduled use.
• Correct storage and documentation of tyres.
• Clean and maintain tyres and rims.
• Set tyre pressures in coordination with the engineering team.
• Prepare and maintain tyre equipment.
• Collaborate with the tyre supplier at the racetrack.
• Timely preparation of race tyres at the racetrack.
