Job summary

Pirelli Motorsport Services Ltd in Didcot, Oxfordshire, is seeking an experienced Motorsport Planning & Warehouse Manager to oversee daily planning and warehouse operations, ensuring efficient space utilisation and inbound/outbound flows.

You will lead a team, manage tyres inventory, coordinate maintenance programs, ensure health and safety compliance, and drive operational excellence across the facility.

Responsibilities

• Manage personnel, warehouse layout and tyre equipment planning for space efficiency.

• Organise planned maintenance programs to keep equipment safe and efficient.
• Manage vehicle fleet servicing and MOTs.
• Supervise shipments preparation and loading/unloading.
• Assist the Property Manager with building maintenance.
• Uphold health and safety standards and reporting.

Pirelli Motorsport Services Ltd, one of the leading international tyre manufacturers, currently have an opportunity for an experienced Motorsport Planning & Warehouse Manager to join the busy team in Didcot, Oxfordshire. The successful individual will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the planning and the warehouse facility.

Working within our successful team and reporting to the Logistics Manager, the role will include:

Managing personnel, warehouse layout and tyre equipment planning to ensure maximum space utilization and efficiencies.

The day-to-day management of a team of direct reports ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet the volume of work/activity.

Warehouse management including the overall control and responsibility for the movement and records of inventory, including tyres, materials and equipment in and out of the facility in line with company procedures.

To assist in the production of planned maintenance programs and schedules to ensure equipment is maintained in safe and reliable condition ensuring optimum efficiency.

To organise and manage the maintenance of the vehicle fleet including servicing and MOT’s.

To supervise preparation and completion of shipments for loading and unloading.

To assist the Property Manager with building maintenance
