Job summary

Johns of Romford, a long‑standing motorcycle dealership, is seeking an experienced Motorcycle Technician to join our busy workshop in Romford. You will service and repair motorcycles and scooters, perform pre‑delivery inspections and used bike preparation, and diagnose faults to ensure high quality for our customers.

We offer a competitive salary (£25,000–£40,000 pa), a 5‑day week (closed Thursdays & Sundays), 4 weeks' annual leave plus bank holidays, in‑house training, and generous staff

Qualifications

• Experience as a motorcycle technician or qualified starter in the motorcycle industry.
• Ability to service and repair motorcycles and scooters.
• Capabilities in fault finding and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing and repairs on motorcycles and scooters.
• Completing pre-delivery inspections and used bike preparation.
• Testing to identify faults on customers' motorcycles.
• MOT testing if possible.

Johns of Romford, a successful motorcycle dealership for over 55 years. We are main agents for Suzuki and a range of quality used Motorcycles and Scooters.

Due to our continued growth, we’re looking for ideally an experienced Motorcycle Technician to join our busy workshop team. That said, if you’re qualified and have just started out on your career in the motorcycle industry we would also be interested to talk to you.

Main duties include but are not limited to:

• Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to a variety of Motorcycles & Scooters
• Completing pre-delivery inspections and Used Bike preparation
• Testing to identify any faults with our customer’s motorcycles
• MOT testing if possible
• As we very much prize our workshop staff, a very competitive salary will be awarded to the successful candidate, £25,000-£40,000 pa, which will fully reflect both qualifications and experience
• 5 day working week, closed Thursdays & Sundays
• 4 weeks annual leave + bank holidays
