Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, is looking for a Motorcycle Technician to join a franchise-approved dealership. You will diagnose faults, service and repair motorcycles to manufacturer standards in a busy, customer-focused workshop set within a well-established company.

Qualifications

  • NVQ/IMI Level 3 in Motorcycle Maintenance and Repair preferred.
  • Significant time-served experience in motorcycle or vehicle mechanics considered.
  • Valid UK motorcycle driving licence with minimal points.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing and repairs on motorcycles to manufacturer standards.
  • Accurately diagnose faults and communicate findings to the Workshop Manager.
  • Maintain high standards of work quality, safety and reliability.
  • Assist fellow Technicians with workshop tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures at all times.
  • Support continuous improvement through ongoing training and development.

Duties of a Motorcycle Technician:

  • Assist fellow Motorcycle Technicians with workshop tasks.

  • Adhere to procedures regarding motorcycle safety and operational performance.
  • Support continuous improvement through ongoing training and development.
Requirements of a Motorcycle Technician:
  • NVQ/IMI Level 3 or equivalent in Motorcycle Maintenance and Repair preferred.
  • Individuals with significant time-served experience in motorcycle or vehicle mechanics will also be considered.
  • Hold a valid UK motorcycle driving licence with minimal points.
  • Motivated, team-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet targets.
  • MOT licence is highly advantageous but not essential; training can be provided if necessary.
