Job description
Overview

Location – Haydock RLC

Hours: 37.5 per week (average). Shift allowance applicable (approximately 12.5% uplift on top of basic salary).

Basic Salary: £31,049 to £37,796 per annum (AFC Band 5).

Responsibilities
  • Ensure all Trust vehicles (Petrol / Diesel / Hybrid and EV) are serviced, repaired and maintained to the Trust and DVSA’s exacting standards.
  • Carry out skilled service and repair of specialist ambulance equipment.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Recognised apprenticeship e.g. Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent experience, along with NVQ or C&G Level 3 qualifications.
  • Full UK driving license is essential, with full category C1 entitlement.
  • Working in a modern workshop environment with opportunities for training, CPD, and progression within a dedicated management team structure.

  • Operational requirements for the workshops cover 365 days per year via a rotating shift pattern (additional salary uplift of approximately 12.5%).
