We’re currently working with a well-established and innovative UK-based insurance provider that’s looking to appoint a Motor Technical Underwriter to support its specialist motor portfolio.

The role can be 100% remote.

This is a technically focused role ideal for someone with strong analytical skills and deep underwriting expertise across non-standard, commercial, and high-value motor risks.

Key Highlights
  • Underwrite complex and non-standard motor risks including imported, modified, and high-performance vehicles.
  • Provide technical guidance across underwriting teams and broker networks.
  • Work on commercial motor risks such as pickups, horseboxes, and mobile catering vans.
  • Support vehicle underwriting for brands like Bentley, Ferrari, and Tesla.
  • Contribute to underwriting governance, pricing strategy, and product development.
  • Hybrid / Home working model with flexibility across the UK.
Ideal Candidate
  • 5+ years in motor underwriting with a technical or specialist focus.
  • Experience with non-standard and high-value motor risks.
