The role sits in the Regulatory Crime Department and involves handling high-profile caseloads across England & Wales, from police investigations to trial, with opportunities to work on coroners’ court matters.

You’ll work in a large, market-leading team with insurer-backed clients, benefiting from a collaborative culture and strong support from senior colleagues.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the Criminal Justice System (England & Wales).
• Experience with or exposure to motoring offences.
• Strong communication and client‑handling skills.
• A proactive, resilient approach in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel nationally; full UK driving licence essential.
• Advocacy experience is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Defend motor crime investigations and prosecutions in a corporate, insurer-backed environment.
• Represent clients across England & Wales—from police investigations to trial.
• Engage in police station representation and criminal court proceedings.
• Involve coroners’ court work and complex cases with leading experts.
