Job summary

JKR, a creative agency, translates ideas into motion design, animation and editing for brand films, social content and campaigns. You will translate creative ideas into compelling motion, develop and present motion concepts, and bring ideas to life through animation and editing.

Join a lively Shoreditch studio and collaborate with a talented team. You will build on existing ideas, respond to feedback, and take ownership from exploration to final delivery while exploring new tools and techniques

Qualifications

• Portfolio demonstrating motion design work that excites you.
• 0-5 years of motion design experience.
• Strong After Effects skills.
• Strong eye for design, typography, composition, colour and storytelling.
• Willingness to experiment with new tools and workflows.
• Ability to adapt approach to different creative challenges.
• Interest in understanding why a technique works, not just how to execute it.
• Enthusiasm for design, motion graphics and brand experience.
• Commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion through actions and participation.
• Nice to have: Experience with AI tools or developing 3D skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate creative ideas and brand identities into compelling motion design.
• Develop and present motion concepts and explorations.
• Bring ideas to life through animation, editing and visual craft.
• Edit content for brand films, social and other moving image formats.
• Explore techniques to solve creative challenges and iterate on feedback.
• Take ownership from exploration through final delivery.
• Collaborate with teammates and clients to deliver timely solutions.
• Share knowledge and help grow the team through self-initiated learning.
