Job summary

Lookers Glasgow Audi is recruiting an MOT Tester to join their workshop. You will work with a team of experienced technicians, performing vehicle health checks, services and MOTs, and ensuring high standards across all vehicles.

The role reports to the Aftersales Manager and offers training and career progression, including manufacturer-accredited schemes and Hybrid & Electric training. Flexible working options are available within a 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• MOT Licence and a full UK driving licence are required.
• Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent experience.
• Ambitious, self-motivated and able to maintain high standards across all vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles.
• Perform checks in line with manufacturers guidelines.
• Fit additional accessories requested by the customer.
• Conduct vehicle health checks and report further work as needed.
• Carry out vehicle servicing and MOTs per guidelines and customer requests.
• Take customers' vehicles on road tests to verify faults.
