We have two fantastic opportunities to join our small, friendly team at a well‑established main dealership in Southampton:

• MOT Tester (Class 4)
• Vehicle Technician (Service Level)
• Choice of hours with overtime available
• Monday to Friday only – no weekends!
• Pay to £17 per hour depending on experience (time and a half overtime)

Role 1: MOT Tester

As an MOT Tester, you’ll carry out Class 4 MOT tests to DVSA standards, ensuring vehicles are inspected thoroughly and accurately.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MOT tests and related checks to a high standard
• Ensure compliance with DVSA regulations
• Advise on repairs and maintenance needs where required
• Maintain accurate records and documentation

Requirements

• Current Class 4 MOT Tester licence
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Full UK driving licence

Role 2: Vehicle Technician

As a Vehicle Technician, you’ll perform a full range of servicing, diagnostics, and repair work on a variety of vehicles, following manufacturer specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, repairs, and diagnostics efficiently and accurately
• Work to manufacturer and dealership standards
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Support the workshop team as needed

Requirements

• Qualified Vehicle Technician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
• Experience working in a dealership or independent garage
• Strong problem‑solving and teamwork skills
• Full UK driving licence
