Job summary

A leading automotive dealership in Dutton is seeking an experienced MOT / Vehicle Technician. You will perform MOT tests, service a variety of vehicles, and deliver excellent customer service. Ideal candidates have NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and a valid MOT Tester Licence. Competitive OTE up to £40,000.

Qualifications

• Must have NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance.
• Valid MOT Tester Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Perform Class 4 MOT tests per DVSA standards.
• Service and repair a wide range of vehicles.
• Diagnose faults with up-to-date diagnostic equipment.
• Engage in mechanical jobs like brakes and suspensions.
• Maintain accurate records of work and test results.
• Deliver outstanding customer service.
• Keep workspace tidy and safe.

MOT / Vehicle Technician - Join a Thriving Busy Dealership - All Makes - All Models

Job Type: Full-Time / Permanent

Salary: OTE up to £40,000

Days: Monday-Friday, some Saturday Mornings

Responsibilities

• Performing Class 4 MOT tests in line with DVSA standards (90% of the day are MOT's)
• Servicing and repairing a wide range of vehicles
• Diagnosing faults quickly and accurately with up-to-date diagnostic equipment
• Getting stuck into mechanical jobs like brakes, exhausts, suspensions, and more
• Keeping thorough and accurate records of your work and test results
• Delivering outstanding customer service with clear communication
• Maintaining a tidy, safe and productive workspace
