Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing & repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Conduct MOT tests to DVSA standards.
• Perform cambelt, clutch, gearbox & engine repairs/replacements.
• Carry out electrical & mechanical diagnostics.
• Complete new car PDI's & used car MPC's.
• Execute warranty repairs.

Basic Salary – £34,000- OTE – £40,000

Mon – Fri 8:00‑17:00

Option of a 4 day week

Our client, a busy franchised car dealership in Bedford, has the requirement for an experienced MOT Tester & Vehicle Technician to join their established workshop team.

Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing & repairs to manufacturer standards
• Carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards
• Cambelt, clutch, gearbox & engine repairs/replacements
• Electrical & mechanical diagnostics
• Carry out new car PDI's & used car MPC's
• Warranty repairs

Essential Requirements

• Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance
• Active MOT Tester Licence (Class 4 & 7)
• Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable Requirements

• Hybrid/EV qualifications
• Manufacturer accreditations

Remuneration & Benefits

Basic Salary of £34,000

On target earnings of £40,000

Mon – Fri 8:00‑17:00

5 Saturdays a year
