Job summary

Fish Brothers in Swindon is recruiting an experienced MOT Tester to join our Orbit site. You will carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards and work with a supportive team to ensure efficient, high-quality customer outcomes.

We offer a competitive salary of £36,000 OTE per year, 40 hours per week, and a benefits package including 31 days holiday, pension matching, enhanced maternity/paternity leave and more. Applicants should hold a valid MOT Testing Licence and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified MOT Tester with valid MOT Testing Licence.
• Experience in a busy workshop environment.
• Thorough, methodical and committed to high standards of workmanship.
• IT literate and confident using workshop systems.
• A strong team player with good communication skills.
• In possession of a full UK driving licence with less than 7 points.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out Class 4 MOT tests in accordance with DVSA guidelines
• Accurately recording test results and completing all relevant documentation
• Identifying and reporting any additional repair work required
• Working collaboratively with the workshop team to maintain productivity and quality standards
• Ensuring all equipment is maintained and calibrated in line with regulations
• Adhering to Health & Safety procedures at all times
