Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is seeking an experienced MOT Tester to join an established independent garage in Bedford. This is a stable, full-time role with a strong focus on vehicle safety, high standards and excellent customer service.

You will perform MOT testing to DVSA standards, report faults accurately, and support the workshop team. The working hours are Monday to Friday 9:00am–6:00pm with 1 in 2 Saturdays, 10:00am–5:00pm.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as an MOT Tester within the motor trade.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and vehicle safety.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out MOT tests in compliance with DVSA standards.
• Identifying and accurately reporting vehicle faults.
• Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Supporting the workshop team with additional duties as required.
• Maintaining detailed and accurate documentation for each vehicle tested.
