Job summary

KwikFit in Maidenhead is hiring an MOT Tester for our new site. You will perform MOT tests to Government standards and guide customers through the process, ensuring safety and trust.

You will need an MOT licence and a driving licence, with a focus on reassuring customers and building rapport. You’ll also collaborate with colleagues to keep the centre running smoothly.

Qualifications

• You’ll be able to reassure customers that they’re in safe hands and build rapport so that they choose us for their MOT every year.
• If there's work to be done around the Centre, you’ll be up for pitching in with colleagues whenever you get a spare moment.

The Day to Day

You’ll deliver all aspects of the MOT test to Government standards, with the key objective of keeping our customers safe on the road. You’ll support the customer through the process—updating them with progress, any work that needs doing and, where necessary, why their car failed. It’s all about building lifelong customer relationships, and you’ll put as much into that as you do the technical aspects of your role.
