Job summary

Webrecruit is seeking a competent MOT Tester to join our automotive centre. The role involves performing MOT tests on light vehicles to DVSA standards, with duties including inputting test details and maintaining a clean centre.

The ideal candidate will be flexible, capable of working independently or as part of a small team, and have proven experience in a busy automotive retail environment. DVSA licence holder preferred.

Qualifications

• All MOT Testers must hold a valid MOT Tester licence issued by the DVSA.
• The ideal candidate will be a flexible, proactive communicator with experience in a busy retail automotive setting.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards and input details into the DVSA system.
• Fit products to customer vehicles and perform ancillary services as required.
• Maintain cleanliness of the Centre and equipment.
• Increase sales of products and services in line with company procedures.
• Adhere to the Company's Policy & Procedures and comply with management instructions.
• Uniform supplied by the company and must be clean and presentable.
• Be available for work at times specified by the Company.
