Job summary

GET Staff is seeking an MOT Tester for a well-established independent garage in Maidenhead, Berkshire. The role focuses on carrying out Class 4 MOT tests to DVSA standards and delivering a professional service to customers.

You will diagnose faults with modern equipment, keep accurate MOT/workshop records, and maintain high workmanship standards. The position is permanent, Monday–Friday, with circa £40K DOE.

Qualifications

• Active Class 4 MOT testing licence.
• Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent experience.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with good diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Reliable and well presented, with high standards of workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Class 4 MOT tests in line with DVSA standards.
• Diagnose faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
• Keep accurate MOT and workshop records.
• Provide a professional, friendly service to customers.
