The MOT Tester Role in Westbury

Salary: GBP 37,500 per annum + OT at 1.5x

Your Responsibilities as an MOT Tester

As a qualified MOT Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring vehicles meet the necessary safety standards, contributing to client safety and compliance in Westbury.

• Carry out MOT tests on retail and internal workshop vehicles to the highest standards.
• Communicate test progress with the Service Reception team.
• Carry out site MOT lane performance checks and regular, auditable equipment checks.
• Complete all MOT logs and DVSA reportable data.
• Assist with DVSA site visit checks and implement required actions.
• Ensure the facility and MOT Tester area are maintained to required standards.

Role Requirements

We are looking for a reliable and meticulous Mechanic to join our team in Westbury. You will need:

• Qualification: Level 3 qualified (NVQ, City and Guilds, or IMI Qualification) in PC/LCV Vehicle Repair and Maintenance.
• Experience: Proven experience carrying out diagnostic and service repairs.
• Knowledge: Ability to identify worn and faulty components in line with DVSA Standards.
• Licence: A current, full UK driving licence for the relevant vehicle classes.
