Job summary

A leading automotive service provider in Sawston seeks an MOT Tester to ensure vehicle safety standards. The role offers a salary up to £35,000 with an OTE of £39,200, alongside benefits like in-house training and a workplace pension scheme. Candidates must hold a valid MOT Licence and have sound mechanical knowledge. Working hours are primarily weekdays with one Saturday per fortnight.

Qualifications

  • Hold a valid MOT Licence.
  • Preferable to obtain NVQ/IMI Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance.
  • Previous working experience within the role.
  • Full UK Driving Licence required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers.
  • Sound mechanical knowledge.
  • Carrying out MOT failure rectification work as needed.
  • Ensure VOSA standards are met at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MOT tests and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Communicate with customers regarding test results and recommendations.
  • Rectify any issues found during tests.

Overview

MOT Tester required for our Client's busy Automotive/Tyre Retailer, located in Cambridge. The salary of this role is up to £35,000 basic with OTE of £39,200. MOT Testers play a huge role in keeping our roads safe.
