Job summary

A family-run service centre in Liphook is seeking a qualified MOT Tester to join their busy automotive workshop. The role involves carrying out MOT testing and servicing tasks, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Ideal candidates will have at least an NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair and be self-sufficient. The role offers a salary of up to £40,000 per annum, with working hours from Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Must be qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Experienced in carrying out all classes of skilled work involving inspection and maintenance.
• Must have own tools.

Responsibilities

• Servicing duties for oil filter, suspension, brakes, and pads.
• Comply with health, safety, and environmental legislation.

Skills

Monday - Friday 8am - 5.30pm

Family Run Service Centre

We are currently seeking to recruit a fully qualified MOT Tester to join our client's busy Automotive Workshop in Liphook, Hampshire.

Working pattern

Based on Monday - Friday 8:00 - 5.30pm. We do not open on Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Department of Transport (MOT) testing duties
• Servicing, Oil Filter, suspension, brakes and pads when MOT tests are not scheduled
• Comply with health, safety and environmental legislation and policies
• Assist with other duties as requires

Essential Skills / Qualifications

• Must be qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• Experienced in carrying out all classes of skilled work involving inspection and maintenance
• Experienced with modern diagnostic equipment and vehicle technology
• Computer & Electrical literate
• Has own tools and able to work self sufficiently in a workshop environment.

The successful MOT Tester will ideally live within Liphook or be able to travel to the Liphook area and be qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and repair.
