Job summary

Kwik Fit is seeking a Floating MOT Tester in Bristol to deliver MOT tests to Government standards and support customers throughout the process. You will explain findings and help customers make informed decisions while maintaining strong relationships.

This role includes working with a large team and contributing to a safe, reliable service. The position offers an OTE up to £42,000, inclusive of base salary and bonus, with travel expenses reimbursed and comprehensive business insurance for

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid MOT licence.
• Hold a driving licence and be comfortable guiding customers through the process.
• Proven ability to explain repairs and keep customers informed.

Responsibilities

• Perform all MOT tests to Government standards and keep detailed records.
• Support customers through the MOT journey, updating progress and explaining any failures.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth centre operations and excellent service.

Kwik Fit - Floating MOT Tester - Bristol

This role offers an OTE up to £42,000 inclusive of basic salary and bonus. Travel expenses re-imbursed and business insurance for vehicle covered.

The Day to Day

You’ll deliver all aspects of the MOT test to Government standards, with the key objective of keeping our customers safe on the road. You’ll support the customer through the process—updating them with progress, any work that needs doing and, where necessary, why their car failed. It’s all about building lifelong customer relationships, and you’ll put as much into that as you do the technical aspects of your role.

Who we’re looking for

You’ll need a valid MOT licence and driving licence. You’ll also be able to reassure customers that they’re in safe hands and build rapport so that choose us for their MOT every year. And if there’s work to be done around the Centre, you’ll always be up for pitching in with your colleagues whenever you get a spare moment.
