A well-established independent garage is looking for a qualified MOT Tester to join its workshop team. This role would suit someone who values a structured, supportive environment and reliable working hours. While additional technician skills are a bonus, they are not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out MOT tests in line with DVSA standards
• Ensuring all work is completed accurately and efficiently
• Maintaining high levels of workshop safety and compliance
• Supporting the wider team with general service and repair work (desirable but not essential)

Requirements

• Full MOT testing licence (essential)
• Proven experience in a workshop or service environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Reliable and punctual, with a professional attitude
• Applicants must live within a reasonable travel distance

Salary and Benefits

• £39,000-£42,000 per annum (DOE)
• Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:30pm
