Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is seeking an experienced MOT Technician to join a well-established workshop in Romsey, Hampshire. This role offers the opportunity to develop your career in a supportive, modern and busy environment.

The position provides a competitive salary of £40,000 to £45,000 with a Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:30 schedule, no weekend work, and overtime available. A valid MOT testing licence is essential, and experience across all makes and models, especially vans and light

Qualifications

Valid MOT testing licence is essential.
Proven experience as an MOT Technician with a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repairs.
Experience working on all makes and models, especially commercial vans and light commercial vehicles.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Reliable, professional and committed to work.
Strong communication and ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Conduct MOT testing and inspections on cars, vans and light commercial vehicles.
Carry out routine servicing, repairs and vehicle maintenance across all makes and models.
Identify, diagnose and resolve mechanical faults.
Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service.
Collaborate with the team to maximise workshop efficiency.
Keep work areas clean, safe and well maintained.
Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.
