Perfect Placement is recruiting for an MOT Technician in Westbury, Wiltshire. You will conduct MOT tests, diagnose issues, and assist with servicing in a busy automotive service centre.

The role offers a five-day week (Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:30pm) with some Saturdays, a 42.5-hour week, and opportunities for training and development. A competitive salary (circa £39,000) with annual bonuses is provided.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a MOT Technician.
• Current MOT certification.
• UK driving licence with minimal points.

Responsibilities

• Conduct MOT tests in accordance with Ministry standards.
• Diagnose and repair a range of vehicle issues.
• Assist with routine servicing and maintenance tasks.
• Provide workshop support to ensure efficient operation.
• Occasionally assist at the front reception with customer inquiries.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship within established timeframes.

• Reside within reasonable commuting distance of Westbury, Wiltshire
• Apprenticeship or relevant technical training in vehicle maintenance and repairs
