Qualifications

  • Previous cleaning experience (preferably in transport or vehicle cleaning) is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Attention to detail and pride in delivering high standards.
  • Flexibility with working hours to meet MOT preparation schedules.
  • Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough interior and exterior cleaning of buses ahead of scheduled MOTs.
  • Ensure all windows, seats, flooring, and touchpoints are spotless and debris-free.
  • Use appropriate cleaning products and tools to maintain cleanliness and safety.
  • Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure timely preparation of vehicles.
  • Report any damage or maintenance issues to the supervisor immediately.
  • Follow all company health & safety protocols and PPE requirements.
  • Maintain accurate cleaning logs and time sheets.

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented MOT Bus Cleaner to support our vehicle maintenance team. This role involves ensuring that buses scheduled for MOT inspections are cleaned to a high standard, inside and out, to meet regulatory and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Perform thorough interior and exterior cleaning of buses ahead of scheduled MOTs.
  • Ensure all windows, seats, flooring, and touchpoints are spotless and debris‑free.
  • Use appropriate cleaning products and tools to maintain cleanliness and safety.
  • Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure timely preparation of vehicles.
  • Report any damage or maintenance issues to the supervisor immediately.
  • Follow all company health & safety protocols and PPE requirements.
  • Maintain accurate cleaning logs and time sheets.

Location: Rochdale

Working hours: 10 hrs per week (flexible scheduling)

Hourly Pay Rate: £12.60
