Mortgage Sales Support

Somerset

This is a fantastic opportunity for a customer focussed individual to join our client, playing a key role in supporting their mortgage sales activity.

As Mortgage Sales Support, you’ll be the first point of contact for intermediaries and direct mortgage customers, helping them start their mortgage journey while delivering exceptional service and efficient support at every stage.

This role will be hybrid, with 2 days based at their head office in Somerset and the remainder working remotely. For the training period, there would be a requirement for more office presence.

Duties will include:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for intermediaries and direct mortgage customers via webchat, telephone, and email.
  • Assessing and processing Decisions in Principle accurately and within agreed timescales.
  • Supporting intermediaries with sales information, documentation, and general product queries.
  • Qualifying and assisting direct customers as they begin their mortgage journey.
  • Maintaining regular contact with members approaching product maturity to support retention and rate applications.
  • Ensuring complaints and feedback are logged, escalated, and resolved promptly.
  • Assisting in the testing and rollout of new mortgage products.
  • Providing administrative and processing support across the mortgage team when needed.
  • Attending occasional intermediary and customer events to represent the Society.
  • Managing sourcing sites and ensuring information is up to date and accurate.

The successful individual will possess:

  • Previous experience in customer service, sales support, or administration, within financial services.
  • Experience handling inbound and outbound communications through a range of channels.
  • Ideally hold the CeMap qualification or be willing to study and gain.
