Job summary

Harte Recruitment - Property & Conveyancing Recruitment Specialists is seeking a Mortgage & Protection Adviser in Newcastle upon Tyne. You will manage a pipeline of ready-to-go mortgage and protection leads, delivering tailored, whole-of-market solutions while ensuring FCA compliance and excellent client service.

With a basic salary up to £35k and OTE up to £75k, you can expect realistic earnings aligned to performance. Typical hours are Mon-Fri 8:45am–5pm, with occasional Saturdays as needed.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Minimum of 3 years' industry experience.
• CeMAP qualification (or equivalent).
• Confident and professional in client interactions, on-site and over the phone.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored mortgage solutions meeting client needs.
• Provide guidance on protection products (life, critical illness, income, home).
• Active management and conversion of high-quality leads from the agency.

The Package:

• Up to £35k basic DOE, plus OTE up to £75k
• Realistic earning potential with basic and overall packages tailored to experience, performance and output. What you put in, is what you will get out!
• Monday - Friday 8:45am - 5pm (flexible around starting and finishing times for early/late appointments)
• Occasional Saturday work may be required

The Person:

• You have a full UK driving licence

The Mortgage & Protection Adviser Role:

• Deliver tailored, whole-of-market mortgage solutions that meet each client's individual needs
• Provide expert guidance on protection products, including life insurance, critical illness cover, income protection, and home insurance
• Actively manage and convert high-quality leads provided by the estate agency
• Build strong, long-lasting client relationships through outstanding service
• Ensure full compliance with FCA regulations and internal company standards
• Work closely with estate agency colleagues to maximise opportunities and drive successful outcomes
