A leading financial services firm in Basildon seeks a Mortgage Compliance Advisor to ensure compliance with mortgage case files and provide coaching to advisers. The role is full-time with a hybrid working arrangement, offering a salary of £24,000 – £25,000 per annum. Ideal candidates will have mortgage reviewing experience and strong analytical skills. We are looking for a Mortgage Compliance Advisor (Business Standards Associate) to join us as a full‑time permanent role. Hybrid working: 3 days from our Basildon offices and 2 days working from home. Salary £24,000 – £25,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.

The Associate deals directly with the UK‑wide network of professional mortgage and insurance advisers, in relation to residential and buy‑to‑let mortgage case files and their compliance with operating procedures, the Stonebridge Performance Management System and the FCA regulatory requirements. The role includes completing 1‑2‑1 reviews, checking cases and supporting specific AR firms / advisers. The Associate provides coaching and guidance to upskill the advisers, fostering good practice and standards, by phone and email and reviews and provides feedback on promotional materials.
