Job summary

Mortgage Advice Bureau (MAB) is seeking a passionate Mortgage & Protection Adviser to join our team in Ashford, Kent. This self-employed role offers flexible hybrid/office options, with leads, admin support and a competitive commission structure to back your earnings.

You’ll chat with clients, provide expert mortgage and protection advice, and guide homebuyers through lender criteria while staying up-to-date with market changes. Training and ongoing support are provided.

Qualifications

• CeMAP qualified (or equivalent) required.
• Experience in mortgage advising.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Organised, self-motivated, able to manage workload.

Responsibilities

• Chat with clients to understand mortgage and protection needs.
• Offer expert advice on mortgage products and protection options.
• Guide clients through the home-buying journey and monitor lender criteria.

What We’re Looking For:

• CeMAP qualified (or equivalent) (must have)
• Previous experience in mortgage advising
• Great communicator and genuinely good with people
• Organised, self-motivated, and able to manage your own workload
