Job Title: Mortgage Administrator
Location: Head Office, Chelmsford
Salary: £24,000 – £26,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm

Overview

We are seeking a proactive and organized Mortgage Administrator to join our Mortgage Service Centre. This role involves supporting mortgage processes from application to completion, liaising with lenders, solicitors, and internal teams, ensuring an excellent service experience for clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with lenders to obtain updates on mortgage applications and progress cases to offer stage.
  • Communicate with solicitors and other relevant parties until mortgage completion.
  • Process incoming mail, manage the central inbox, and handle telephone enquiries.
  • Work closely with Mortgage Advisors and Sales teams to support client needs.
  • Keep clients informed of progress and any potential challenges.
  • Occasionally visit branch offices to support Advisors in the field.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Confident, outgoing, and personable with excellent communication skills (oral and written).
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure.
