A healthcare organization in the UK is seeking a Mortality Review Practitioner to contribute to the Mortality Review Programme. The role involves coordinating reviews and generating insights for quality improvement while collaborating with various stakeholders. Ideal candidates will have strong analytical, governance, IT, and communication skills. The position promotes flexible working arrangements, encouraging a positive work/life balance.
Fixed Term/Secondment for 12 months will be considered with approval from current manager. The post holder will work within the Mortality Review programme, as function of the Clinical Audit and Effectiveness Team, specialising in the delivery of nationally recognised mortality review methodology. The postholder will contribute to care record reviews and co‑ordinate the learning from deaths process across the organisation, in partnership with a wide range of stakeholders, generating evidence to support quality improvement. They will be highly organised, possess good governance, IT and analytical skills and be confident in communicating information in a range of formats.

With demonstrable experience of quantitative and qualitative data management and approaches, they will provide high level administrative and analytical support to the Mortality Review Programme and wider Learning from Deaths national agenda, as directed by the Head of Clinical Audit.
