Job summary

Smiths News Drivers in the Newmarket area is seeking a Self-Employed Driver to join our growing distribution network. You will pack newspapers and magazines, follow a daily route, and deliver to 20-30 customers each shift, starting early in the morning.

The role offers up to £50,000 per annum with weekly pay, a £750 Start-Up payment, and onboarding to get routes up and running quickly. This opportunity lets you free up the rest of your day for family or other work.

Qualifications

• A valid UK or European Driving Licence.
• Access to a 3.5T van with a carrying capacity between 1050kg and 1200kg (route dependent).
• No van? We can help point you in the right direction.

Responsibilities

• Packing newspapers and magazines ready for delivery.
• Following a dedicated daily route.
• Delivering to approximately 20-30 customers.
• Collecting returns and recycling bags.
• Scanning returned products back at the depot.
