Job description

Experienced Care Assistants required for immediate start roles in the Shirebrook Area of Mansfield.

The Care Home provides a short‑term residential care setting that can accommodate 39 residents with illnesses related to old age. You will work alongside the established team of carers in providing an individualised plan of care, taking into account their personal health needs and requirements.

As an experienced Care Assistant you will follow individual care plans, complete paperwork, and report any problems to senior staff. You will assist with residents’ activities of daily living, including aspects of personal care.

You will be expected to work on a one‑to‑one basis with some residents at times. You must have an awareness and passion for working with the elderly, enhancing their quality of life.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 months experience in a care environment
  • A DBS dated within the last 12 months, or the facility will pay for one
  • All relevant mandatory training up‑to‑date and ideally certificates to show for this

This is an ongoing role.

You will be working on Saturdays and Sundays from 07:00 to 14:15.

Rate of pay is £12.21 per hour, rising to £13.33 per hour after 13 weeks.
