The Old Station Nursery in St Neots is seeking a Nursery Room Leader to guide a team and deliver high-quality early years education in a Montessori-inspired setting. You will mentor staff, support operations, and promote a safe, inclusive environment.

Applicants must hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification or QTS, and must be eligible to work in the UK. The role offers a 40-hour week, attractive perks, and DBS-based safeguarding processes.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the team to provide high-quality early years education with passion and energy.
• Support the Nursery Manager to ensure smooth nursery operations and consistent quality.
• Act as a role model by promoting initiative, creativity, and high standards of care.
• Build strong relationships with families, colleagues, and external agencies to support outcomes for children.
• Oversee the team’s implementation of the EYFS framework.
• Take charge of nursery operations in the Nursery Manager’s absence.
• Encourage continuous improvement through feedback and professional development.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for each child.
