Overview

Montessori Nursery Manager

Zero2Five are proud to be working with a private Montessori Day Nursery based in Maldon, Essex who are looking to employ an experienced Montessori Nursery Manager. This is a vital leadership position supporting the effective day-today running of the nursery and a great opportunity to progress within your career to a more senior position with excellent training provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children
• Ensure systems are in place for accurate reporting and monitoring
• Manage the overall operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with EYFS, DFE and Ofsted
• Ensure classroom displays are purposeful and well-maintained, and that regular health and safety checks are carried out
• Build strong relationships with all parents off the setting
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and collaborative working environment
• Adhere to occupancy and financial budgets and targets
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and cleanliness

Essential Criteria

• Over 2 years of management experience
• Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
• Excellent ICT and communication skills
• Paediatric First Aid certification and a commitment to maintain it
• A current and clean DBS certificate
• A thorough understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Ofsted requirements, and safeguarding policies
