Are you passionate about helping others and looking to build your career in a supportive, values‑driven organisation? bpha is seeking a Money Advice Apprentice to join our dedicated team, providing vital support to residents and helping them avoid financial difficulties.

What you’ll do

Deliver advice and triage benefit and debt support to bpha residents, helping them maximise their income and avoid financial hardship.

Work as part of a collaborative team maintaining performance data and handling general enquiries.

Undertake comprehensive training to become an accredited Money Adviser, working within FCA guidelines and maintaining confidentiality.

Proactively engage with new tenancies to maximise welfare benefit and debt advice uptake.

Support customers with empathy and professionalism, especially in sensitive or distressing situations.

Contribute to partnership working and project delivery, helping bpha achieve its goals.

Who we’re looking for

You have experience in customer‑facing roles (retail, hospitality, call centres, care etc.) and can demonstrate strong communication skills.

You’re empathetic, able to listen and support people in challenging circumstances, and committed to doing the right thing.

You’re comfortable managing a varied workload and adapting to change.

You’re confident using MS Word, Excel and Outlook, and can communicate effectively in writing.

You’re ambitious, eager to learn and want to make a positive difference for others.
