Job summary

Thermotraffic in Newark is seeking an experienced HGV C+E Night Driver to join our night shift operations. You will transport temperature-controlled goods safely between Thermotraffic sites and customer locations across the UK, delivering on time and in line with transport legislation.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years driving experience, a valid C+E licence, and the ability to work permanent night shifts with a professional, reliable and customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years HGV driving experience.
• Valid C+E licence.
• Experience with temperature-controlled distribution preferred.
• Willingness to work permanent night shifts.
• Maximum of 3 penalty points with no driving disqualifications.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver temperature-controlled goods safely and on time.
• Complete vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Manage your driving hours and Working Time Directive (WTD) compliance.
• Maintain Driver CPC requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery and collection points.
• Follow all company and legal health & safety procedures.
• Complete any required training.
