Job summary

Orchard Professional Solutions Ltd in Wakefield is seeking an experienced Plumber to join a busy modular construction team. This permanent, full-time role offers day shifts, Monday to Friday, in a modern production environment.

You will install plastic pipework and plumbing systems in modular buildings, fit sanitary ware, read technical drawings, perform pressure tests, and work closely with production and other trades to meet build schedules while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Qualifications

• Experience in plumbing, ideally modular/off-site construction or manufacturing.
• Experience installing plastic plumbing systems (PVC, ABS, Hep2O, Speedfit or similar).
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Reliable with a positive attitude and excellent work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Installation of plastic pipework and plumbing systems within modular buildings.
• Fit sanitary ware, pipework and associated plumbing fixtures.
• Read and work from technical drawings and specifications.
• Pressure test plumbing systems where required.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with regulations.
• Work closely with production and other trades to meet build schedules.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
