Job summary

Node4 seeks an experienced Modern Workplace Consultant to design, implement, secure and optimise Microsoft 365 workplace solutions. Focus areas include Copilot readiness, information protection, governance, and endpoint management.

You will assess existing environments, define target architectures and establish security controls, working with customers to drive adoption. You will bring hands-on experience across Copilot readiness, deployment and governance, plus strong knowledge of Purview,

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot readiness assessments, deployment and governance.
• Knowledge of Copilot security, permissions and information governance within Microsoft 365.
• Experience configuring and administering Microsoft Purview including Information Protection and compliance capabilities.
• Knowledge of sensitivity labels, data classification and retention policies.
• Experience implementing and managing Data Loss Prevention across Microsoft 365.
• Strong skills in Intune device management, endpoint security and Windows Autopilot.
• Experience administering Microsoft Entra ID including Conditional Access, MFA, passwordless authentication and identity governance.
• Ability to design and deliver Modern Workplace solutions and produce technical designs.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Modern Workplace Consultant to design, implement, secure, and optimise Microsoft 365 workplace solutions for our customers. The role will have a strong focus on Microsoft 365 Copilot, information protection and governance, endpoint management, identity security, and data loss prevention. The successful candidate will combine strong technical expertise with consulting skills, working with customers to assess their existing environments, define target architectures, implement solutions, and establish appropriate security and governance controls.

What will you bring?

• Strong hands-on experience across Microsoft 365 Copilot, including readiness assessments, deployment, administration and governance.
• Good understanding of Copilot security, permissions, data access, oversharing risks and information governance within Microsoft 365.
• Experience configuring and administering Microsoft Purview, including Information Protection and compliance capabilities.
• Knowledge of sensitivity labels, data classification, retention policies and information protection frameworks.
• Practical experience implementing and managing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies across Microsoft 365.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Intune, including device management, compliance policies, endpoint security and Windows Autopilot.
• Experience administering Microsoft Entra ID, including Conditional Access, MFA, passwordless authentication and identity governance.
• Ability to consult, design and deliver Modern Workplace solutions, leading customer workshops, producing technical designs and providing best-practice recommendations.
