We have an exciting opportunity to join our team and are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us at South Derbyshire District Council as a Modern Apprentice.

This apprenticeship is a fantastic opportunity to gain practical experience and a recognised qualification while working in a fast‑paced and diverse organisation.

We are looking for somebody who has:

  • Great interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other IT applications.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • As well as understanding the importance of security and confidentiality of personal and other data

During the apprenticeship, the successful applicant will undertake vocational training and perform a range of administrative and related tasks across the following work streams provided by the Organisational Development Service Unit;

  • Human Resources
  • Training and Development
  • Health and Safety
  • HR Administration
  • Communications
  • Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

You will also be enrolled to the Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship with Burton and South Derbyshire College whereby you will study at the college 1 day a month.
