We have a fantastic opportunity for a Modelling Methodology Engineer – Mechanical Systems to join our Simulation group within the Engineering Office at Enstone. This position will play a crucial role in helping us push for podiums and race wins.

Overview

We are looking for a Modelling Methodology Engineer who will develop, improve and interact with multibody models (full vehicle or specific subsystems such as but not limited to suspensions and transmission). Primary tools include Dymola, Simscape, and MATLAB. A strong interest in automation, scripting, and coding (particularly in Matlab and Python) is essential. Knowledge in databases and developing/maintaining GUIs is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, improve and interact with multibody models (full vehicle or subsystems such as suspensions and transmission).
  • Utilise tools including Dymola, Simscape, and MATLAB as primary modelling and analysis platforms.
  • Demonstrate a strong interest in automation, scripting, and coding (Python and MATLAB).
  • Leverage knowledge of databases and GUI development to support modelling workflows when appropriate.
