Job summary

DK Recruitment is seeking an experienced MOD Electrician for a long-term defence project based in Devon/Cornwall. The role covers electrical installation and maintenance across MOD facilities with a focus on safety and quality.

You will perform first and second-fix electrical works, work from drawings and project specifications, and coordinate with other trades to deliver projects safely and efficiently. Full-time Monday–Friday, £27 per hour.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds electrical qualification.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Valid ECS/CSCS/JIB card.
• Experience on MOD/defence, commercial or industrial projects desirable.
• Strong experience with containment, conduit and cable installation.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Good understanding of site health and safety requirements.

Location: Devon / Cornwall

Rate: £27 per hour

Duration: Long-term project

Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday

• Working alongside other trades to deliver projects safely and efficiently.
• Maintaining high standards of health & safety and quality.

Requirements:

• Relevant electrical qualifications (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds).
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Valid ECS/CSCS/JIB card.
• Previous MOD, defence, commercial or industrial experience desirable.
• Strong experience with containment, conduit and cable installation.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good understanding of site health & safety requirements.
