Job summary

University of Birmingham invites applications for a pumped-priming postdoctoral Fellowship (MOBILITY). The role supports early-career researchers to develop independent programmes within STEM. Qualifications

• A PhD in a relevant research area.
• Demonstration of a competitive track record for personal fellowship.
• Development of a research proposal in progress for submission to funding bodies.
• Ability to leverage the appointment to strengthen your research profile toward external fellowships.

Responsibilities

• Develop research objectives and proposals with mentor input.
• Lead or contribute to writing bids for research funding.
• Analyse and interpret data to advance research.
• Disseminate findings through publications and seminars.
• Supervise PhD students and guide research staff.
• Present research outputs at seminars and conferences.
• Promote equality and foster an inclusive research environment.
• Coordinate work with others to avoid duplication.
