Job summary

Path Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Engineer near Stourport-on-Severn to join a leading construction equipment business. You will service, maintain and repair mobile pumps, compressors, diesel-driven machinery and related equipment in a workshop, with occasional site visits.

The role offers a Monday–Friday 7:30am–4:30pm schedule, a salary of £38,000–£42,000, a company van, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and long-term security in a stable, reputable employer.

Qualifications

• At least five years' engineering experience.
• NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 minimum in Plant Maintenance, Motor Vehicle, Agricultural Engineering or a similar discipline (Level 3 preferred).
• Strong hydraulic, electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Experience maintaining plant equipment or commercial vehicles.
• A full UK driving licence.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintenance and repairs on mobile spray pumps, compressors and diesel-powered machinery in the workshop.
• Occasional site visits for breakdown support when required.
• Work with hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems.
