Job summary

RAC is hiring a Mobile Vehicle Technician for its SMR division, delivering planned maintenance and repairs at members’ homes or workplaces. You’ll work from a fully equipped RAC van on a pre-booked schedule.

The role offers a base salary of £40,178 with on-target earnings up to £52,000, guaranteed overtime, and a 40-hour week with a 1 in 4 Saturday pattern. Training and equipment are provided to support high-quality service.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance with 2+ years' experience, or 5+ years' experience as Vehicle Technician/Mechanic and a full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
